Current events. USA

On April 6th 2014,  American Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said the USA will send missile defense ships to Japan for protecting against North Korea's missile.

Japan is  currently worried about two things; missiles of North Korea, because Japan doesn't know when missiles will attack Japan.  North Korea also has been threatening Japan about using their new nuclear power.

Secondly, Japan is worried about what China would do to Japan, because the relationship between the two countries is really getting worse since fighting about Senkaku Islands. The Senkaku islands are islands known in China as Diaoyu island in East China sea.

The two extra ships would make the total number of the war ships in Japan: seven.
Mr. Hagel went to China on 7th of February to talk about how to use their authority, Deployment of military power, and he wants to tell clearly, how friendly the relationship of Japan and the US.  The US will deployment missile in Alaska too.

In February, Hagel made an announcement about missile defense expansion in Asia especially in Japan.
Hagel talked about China doesn't respect other east asian countries. It is very similar to Russia's way of treating Ukraine. He compared.

Hagel said "You cannot... redefine boundaries and violate territorial integrity and sovereignty of nations by force, coercion and intimidation, whether it's in small islands in the Pacific or large nations in Europe,"

Composer Mamoru Samuragouchi held a press comference.

Last month, Japanese composer Mamoru Samuragouchi's "Ghost Writer", Niigaki held the press conference and he spoke the secret about Mamoru.
Mamoru is known as a deaf composer. People called him Japanese Beethoven. Japanese people loved him, and he is a star, because he is deaf, but still able to compose.
Niigaki said in the conference,  "Mamoru can't compose, Play the piano, or any instruments. I have composed all the music for him for 18 years"
This shocked people, and lots of his fans were sad.
On last friday, Mamoru himself finally spoke about it.
His conference was different to Niigakis.
For example, Niigaki said Mamoru is not deaf, I normally spoke on the phone.
Mamoru said It never happen, because it is impossible to him.
Niigaki said he wanted to stop this crazy happen
Mamoru said Niigaki never said that, and he demanded more money every time.
Niigaki said get only ¥7000000 in 18 years
Mamoru said sometime he gave more ¥3000000 per one piece of music.

I don't understand which one telling truth.
There is another story regarding Mamoru Samuragochi.

Miku is a Japanese girl, who was born with one hand.
She has been playing violin since she was 3.
Niigaki is one of her Accompanist.
Mamoru found out about her.
and he wanted to get fame, by using her story.
He asked Niigaki to compose a piece for her.
Mamoru of course said to the public it was him who composed it.
A few TV shows pick this story up, and made documentaries about it.
Mamoru got what he wanted.
After that, Miku's parents were angry, because they didn't want their daughter to be on TV.
Mamoru got angry at Miku's parents too for not thanking him for giving Miku a chance to be famous.
Miku's parents said "We do thank Mamoru for being kind to our daughter, but we never said we wanted to her to be on TV"
Mamoru and Miku separated since then.

I think Mamoru is lying, because everything he said is just defending himself.
I think he is a terrible person.
I feel really shock, because I liked him piece of music, and I feel like betrayed by him.

My cousin came to my house 1 month ago with my aunt.
He is almost one year old.
Everyone in a family was very happy to see him again. He is very cute, and he is idol in my house.  However, he is very shy, and much attached to his mother so he couldn't carry on a back.
He seemed like he was intimidated by my family, especially me.
One day, I wanted to play with him using cups. It made of plastic, so it not dangerous.
I made a tower, and then he broke that. He really liked breaking the tower.
After that, we bonded. He never cried any more, and he was happy with me.

When he was born, he stayed in my house for one month with his mom.
I think he doesn't remember my family.
When he was born, I couldn't go to the hospital, because I had a violin lesson.
A day later, I went to see him. He was really tiny, but according to the doctor he was a big baby.

He hated me in the beginning, and when he saw my face, he cried.
He was very shy, so he can't
He loves to play cup.
If I make a cup tower,

ESL assignment

My favourite orchestra.
Taichi Miyamoto
One of my favorite orchestra is Berlin Phil. It is the short form of Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.  I love them, because they have great conductors have multinational members who are amazing musicians even as a solo player.  They tour around the world and considered the best.
One of my favorite orchestra is Berlin Phil. This is very rare in the world outside Japan, because European orchestra’s concertmaster usually comes from European countries. Berlin Phil is prestigious orchestra with strong historical background, and fans are all over the world. Many people think how did the Japanese players get in? Asian people still experience discrimination like this in Europe.   Berlin Phil chose Japanese concertmasters and principal viola player and this must mean they look at every player no matter of the players’ country of origin.
Daishin Kashimoto is the current concertmaster and Naoko Shimizu is the current principal viola player. Perhaps they got head hunted, because they were good, but I’m not sure.
Secondly, I like Berlin Phil for their policy of putting values on every player.  In orchestra, usually they value the sound as a whole, but Berlin Phil thinks it’s important for every player to have good skill, and then it makes a good balance and creates strong energy and dynamic on stage.
Every Berlin Phil member is a good player, so they can play in small ensemble too. That quality is of course better than other ensemble.
Berlin Phil has a great resident conductor. They are so good it makes me sick.
The conductor is really important to an orchestra, because the conductor is the leader of the orchestra, which means conductor can control motivation of the whole team. If the conductor is snobby, the orchestra never listen what he wants to do. If the conductor is too timid, usually orchestra can’t trust him.
If the conductor is too young, orchestra members may be hard to control.
So, the resident conductor of Berlin Phil is always carefully chosen and usually one of the leading conductors of the world and therefore the orchestra members trust him completely. That makes a huge difference in their music.
These are my reasons for loving Berlin Phil I hope they come to Japan again soon and I want to listen to them play live. I want to play concerto with them in the future.
